I guessed it was a truck as I was trying to get home tonight along Rosanna Road, the traffic was chaotic. Rossanna Road IS NOT BUILT FOR THE HUGE AMOUNT OF LARGE TRUCKS THAT USE IT DAILY. BAN ALL TRUCKS.

Hope you are all going to be on the steps of Parliament this Saturday 8th August to let the politicians know they must act on The East West Link to get the trucks off our local roads.

So many cars coming up our end of Alfreda Ave,a dead end to Rosanna Rd,Then turning in our drive to try and find another way to get home.I assumed there must have been an accident on Rosanna Road. Don’t hold your breath.I’m sure it will be a long time before anything will be done to alleviate this enormous problem. From Janet Webster

It is high time that we demand and take our ENTITLEMENTS we have as Rate – and Tax paying citizens. Peaceful and enjoying silence at night, save traffic entry for the residents living east of Rosanna Road and everywhere else is our right. Our area is limited by the river and by the number of Traffic Light controlled points to enter Rosanna Road. To reach these points involve extra travelling mostly in the opposite direction where we have to or want to go. Enough is enough. Let’s wake up the Governments and their sleeping Institutions. Like most country towns
Melbourne must have ” Bye Pass Roads” and not through our residential streets. If the present
Governments can not comprehend that we must change it.
